A mouse with a sad fate finds itself in the hands of a mysterious and sprawling corporation, AG-Corp. Alongside its malignant tumor (injected by AG-Corp), it soon discovers that the company’s economy is based, among other shady activities, on a recycling system that turns citizens deemed undesirable into building materials. Together, they will disrupt the well-oiled machine of AG-Corp…

Interspersed with short stories that tell the tragicomic adventures of a model AG-Corp employee, a self-conscious daisy, and the thrilling life of a matchstick, this wordless comic by Yann Taillefer, entirely drawn with a two-color ballpoint pen and reminiscent in some ways of Dave Cooper or Vermines by Guerse & Pichelin, highlights the absurdity of a system that feeds on itself. Ultimately, it’s the principle of recycling.
